The members of the Greater Prince William Housing Consortium are developing an application to access the Federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funds allocated to the Commonwealth of Virginia.

This Consortium intends to include the following in our grant application:

 Funds to purchase up to 19 homes in the Manassas area as well as the Route One Corridor in Woodbridge and Dumfries and Dale City.
 Included in the grant will be funds to renovate units as necessary to bring them to decent, safe and sanitary properties.
 Also, the Consortium plans to request funding for down payment assistance.

Eligibility to become a homeowner through this program requires:

 Specific income limits apply:
o In the Manassas area, households earning up to 50% of the Area Median Income will be eligible to apply.
o In the Route One Corridor and Dale City, the program will accept applications from households earning up to 120% of the Area Median Income.
 All applicants will be required to attend a homeownership training course.
 All applicants will be required to secure a first mortgage.
